November 19, 2005
- A training exercise for HazMat One
members was held at the Murray State University from 0800 hrs to
1600 hrs. The following members were present:
- Steve Bartholomew, Scott Brown,
Bill Call, John Clanton, Doug Cooper, Donald Elrod, Mark
Garland, Barry Gill, Mike Grief, Steve Hayden, Kathie Hunt, Ken
Hyde, Randal Keller, Charles Lott, Jerome Mansfield, Chris
Peeler, Keith Pierce, Mark Rogers, Irvin Smith, John Smith,
Larry Smith, Richard Tapp, Tommy Vaughn, and David Wright.
2. Donald Elrod gave a presentation
on the response procedures for HazMat One.
3. A walk through of the HazMat truck
and trailers was done. Members were divided into groups and the
following was accomplished.
a. Zumro tent was deployed
and set up.
b. Air packs were set up for
use.
c. Entry team suit-out was
done.
d. Equipment was removed
from boxes and placed on truck & trailers.
- Jeff Steen presented a
chemical leak scenario and a training drill was done.
December 3, 2005
- A training exercise for HazMat One
members was held at the Reidland Fire Station # 2 from 0800 hrs to
1600 hrs. The following members were present:
- Steve Bartholomew, Scott Brown,
John Clanton, Ted Deecke, Donald Elrod, Mark Garland, Charles
Lott, Shane Moore, Irvin Smith, John Smith, Richard Tapp, Tommy
Vaughn, Chris Wagner, and David Wright.
- Equipment was organized
on the HazMat truck and trailers.
- The Zumro tent was set
up for training.
December 4, 2005
- A training exercise for HazMat One
members was held at the Reidland Fire Station # 2 from 0800 hrs to
1600 hrs. The following members were present:
- Steve Bartholomew, Ted Deecke,
Charles Lott, John Smith, Richard Tapp, Chris Wagner, and David
Wright.
- Equipment was organized
on the HazMat truck and trailers.
